Cuttack: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Monday lifted the containment zone tag from CDA Sector-9 in the city.
There was no trace of local transmission and nine rounds of active surveillance were done by the authorities. Only one primary contact of an earlier patient was found positive, a CMC official said.
The area was declared containment zone on June 28 after a cop from Badamba, who was residing here, tested positive for COVID-19. The zone covered 38 houses.
