Cuttack: The containment zone restrictions have been lifted from New Nimba Sahi (Ward no 42) in the city.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) said that the decision was taken after several rounds of active surveillance and negating the spread of COVID19 in the particular area and nearby.
The area was declared a containment zone on August 17 to contain the spread of the virus in this densely populated area, which had reported 25 cases the previous day.
