Containment Zone Restrictions Lifted From These 2 Areas In Cuttack City

Cuttack: The containment zone restrictions have been lifted from Bari Lane at Khatbin Sahi and Parida Sahi at Shankarpur here.

The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) had declared these densely-populated areas in the city as containment zones on July 21 following the detection of COVID-19 cases.

The decision to lift the restriction was taken after 10 and 11 rounds of active surveillance at Bari Lane and Parida Sahi respectively and negating any possible local transmission of COVID-19 in the area, the CMC tweeted.

However, regular lockdown restrictions will continue in these areas, it added.
