Bhubaneswar: Body of a contractor was recovered from a house in Governor House Colony at Unit-8 here on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Dillip Kumar Nayak, a native of Jajpur district.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for postmortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered.
In another incident, body of an unidentified woman aged around 40 years was found on railway tracks near Benagadia in Angul district.
