Balangir: A convergence meeting on malaria, dengue and diarrhoea was held at the district headquarters hospital here on Thursday.
Chairing the meeting, district collector Ashish Thakrey advised the health officials to step up efforts to prevent and combat outbreak of the vector-borne diseases.
He also asked the officials to spread awareness among public about free treatment and diagnosis facilities available with the state government-run hospitals.
The meeting was attended by senior health officials and doctors.
