Sundargarh: Following a four-day search, police finally succeeded in arresting a youth for allegedly murdering his mother at Bahiyam village near Rajgangpur in Sundargarh distrit.
The youth, identified as Raju Gouda (23), had been absconding ever since he allegedly stabbed his mother, Laxmi Gouda (50), to death following a quarrel on January 16.

According to sources, Raju had demanded money from his mother. When she refused, he attacked her with a knife and killed her on the spot. He then escaped, but caught on Wednesday.
