Nuapada: Policemen allegedly misbehaved with a woman in a moving bus in Nuapada district on Monday.
The woman, hailing from Bhawanipatna, was travelling with her son when the incident took place. When she opposed, the cops allegedly thrashed her son and some of their colleagues.
Irked over the incident, some locals staged a blockade on the national highway near the district headquarters hospital demanding immediate action against the errant policemen. “Action will be initiated against the police personnel after an inquiry,” a senior police officer said.
