Corona Grips Every District Of Odisha; Know The Details Of 143 New Patients

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday released the details of 143 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health and Family Welfare Department sources, 132 of these fresh cases have been detected in different quarantine centres across the state while 11 are local contacts.

With Rayagada reporting it maiden case, the virus has now spread to all 30 districts of Odisha.

9 cases in Kendrapada

(All in quarantine centres. 5 Gujarat, 2 Maharastra & 2 Tamil Nadu returnees)

8 cases in Nuapada

(All in quarantine centres. Maharashtra returnees)

17 cases in Sonepur

(14 in quarantine. 3 Gujarat, 8 Tamil Nadu and 3 Telangana returnees. 3 local contact cases)

1 case in Raygada

(In quarantine centre. Delhi returnee)

41 cases in Ganjam

(36 in quarantine centres. 10 Gujarat, 4 Maharashtra, 1 AP returnees. 21 returnees from Gujarat/ Maharashtra were in home quarantine. 5 local contact cases)

3 cases in Khurda

(All in quarantine centres. 2 Surat and 1 Delhi returnees)

With seven deaths and 1325 recoveries, the state now has 1054 active cases.
