Berhampur: All government offices in Ganjam district have been closed for the next 10 days for the public.
The administration attributed the decision to senior officers getting infected by the novel coronavirus.
According to sources, 10 administrative officers tested corona positive on Tuesday. Following which, officers and staff in Kudakhandi, Chhatrapur and Rangeilunda blocks are in a state of panic.
Meanwhile, the district reported 76 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the affected tally to 1031. Among them are 14 corona warriors.
