Bhubaneswar: Seven more corona positive cases have been reported from Ganjam district which has been declared Red Zone following sudden spike in the cases.
All the infected persons are male and Surat returnees. With this, the total number of corona positive cases in the district has gone up to 28 and in the States to 219.
The district administration has launched contract tracing and follow-up measures for the affected persons.
The district, which had managed to keep the corona cases to single digit due to strict enforcement of preventive guidelines, has been registering new cases almost on daily basis after the return of migrants from different parts of the country, particularly Surat in Ganjam district.
