Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday released the details about 74 corona positive cases reported in the last 24 hours.
These fresh cases have been reported from Boudh (28), Puri (11), Cuttack (9), Khurda (7), Ganjam (6), Jajpur (6), Kendrapada (2), Malkangiri (2) and one each from Balasore, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal.
Of these, 72 have been detected from quarantine centres while two are local cases, the I & PR department said in a tweet. The patients had recently returned to Odisha from West Bengal, Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Kerala.
With this, Odisha now has 739 active cases with 307 having cured of the infection. The virus has so far claimed six lives in the state.
