Bhubaneswar: Coronavirus has claimed one more life in Odisha. The latest victim is a 63-year-old man patient from Khurda.
The Health and Family Welfare on Friday tweeted that the man, who had tested corona positive, passed away while under treatment in a hospital.
He was a diabetic with other underlying co-morbidities, the tweet added.
With this, the death toll in the state has gone up to eight. This is the fourth death in Khurda district with three others being reported from Ganjam and one from Cuttack.
Odisha has so far reported 2608 COVID-19 cases and 1481 among them have recovered from the infection.
