New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: With the number of Coronavius (Covid-19) positive cases in India spiking to 28, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced that students appearing for Class X and XII board examination will be allowed to carry masks and hand sanitiser to the exam centre.
“Face masks and sanitisers may be carried by students, if so desired, in the examination centre,” the CBSE said in a press note.
Over 30 lakh students (18,89,878 for Class X and 12,06,893 for Class XII) students are appearing for the CBSE board exams, which began on February 15. The examinations for Class X will conclude on March 20 and that of Class XII on March 30.
