Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday decided to postpone the ongoing annual Plus II examinations being conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education from March 23 (Monday) until further orders.
An order issued by the School and Mass Education Department attributed the decision to the pandemic situation arising out of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the threat to the students.
The examinations had begun at 1143 centres across the state on March 3. It was to end on March 28 for the Science stream, March 27 for the Arts stream and March 26 for the Commerce stream.
