COVID-19: 15 Districts Report Less Than 10 Cases Each In Odisha; Total 1078, TPR 1.56%
Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Tuesday added 1078 new COVID infections to its affected tally with 15 of 30 districts reporting less than 10 cases each.
With these cases being detected from 68724 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.56 per cent.
According to the I & PR department, 626 of the new infections are from quarantines and 452 transmitted through local contacts.
Khurda district reported the highest 372 cases followed by Cuttack (147).
Bargarh (6), Balangir (4), Boudh (1), Deogarh (4), Gajapati (2), Ganjam (6), Jharsuguda (8), Kalahandi (1), Kandhamal (6), Malkangiri (5), Nabarangpur (1), Nuapada (5), Rayagada (4), Sonepur (5), Sundargarh (6) reported cases in single digits.
