New Delhi: India recorded 30,548 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest single-day spike since July 14.
With these news cases, India’s COVID-19 tally reached 88.45 lakh cases. A total of 435 people succumbed to the deadly virus on Sunday, taking the toll to 1,30,070.
Currently, 4.65 lakh cases are active, while 82.49 lakh people have recovered from the infection so far.
However, less than one million samples have been tested since Friday and only 8 lakh tests were carried out on Saturday.
