Bhubaneswar: Angul district reported maximum recoveries from COVID-19 as 570 patients got cured and were discharged from hospitals across the state on Sunday.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, there were 78 recoveries from Angul, 54 from Cuttack, 51 from Mayurbhanj, 43 from Sundargarh, 41 from Balangir, 40 from Khurda, 37 from Puri, 34 from Balasore, 24 from Kalahandi, and 20 from Jagatsinghpur.
Similarly, 18 patients recovered from the disease in Jajpur, 17 in Nuapada, 14 in Bargarh, 14 in Keonjhar, 13 each in Kendrapada and Sambalpur and 12 in Bhadrak district.
Recoveries fromother districts are as follow:
8 from Dhenkanal
7 from Jharsuguda
6 from Nabarangpur
3 each from Rayagada and Sonepur
2 each from Deogarh, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Koraput and Nayagarh
1 each from Boudh and Malkangiri
8 from State Pool
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 3,15,840 against positive cases of 3,21,196 with 393 new patients reported overnight.
