Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 active cases in the Capital City went up to 87 with 9 more persons testing positive for the disease in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 6 were from local contacts and the rest linked with earlier positive cases, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the local contacts, 2 were from Patia and 1 each from Nayapall, Niladri Vihar, Shree Vihar and Unit VIII.
With the day’s addition, the total cases in the city have gone up to 32,100. While 31,742 patients have recovered, 250 have succumbed to the disease so far, the BMC stated in a tweet.
