Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 positive cases in the Capital city continued on the downward trend as 24 new patients were identified in the last 24 hours.
According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 14 of the new cases are local contacts while 10 are from quarantine.
As many as 42 more patients recovered from the disease during the period.
With this, the COVID-19 positive tally has gone up to 30,802 in the city.
While 30164 patients have recovered, 220 have succumbed to the disease. There are 397 active cases at present, according to the BMC. Bhubaneswar recorded 27 cases on Tuesday, whereas, the number was 28 on Monday.
