Cuttack: A day after a sudden surge of 310 COVID-19 cases, another 125 people tested positive for the virus in Cuttack city, which pushed the affected tally to 3653 on Tuesday.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 34 are from Kumbhar Sahi micro containment zone, 33 from home quarantine, 24 from institutional quarantine centre and 34 local contact cases.
A building in the area was declared a micro containment zone on Monday after detection of 24 cases among nine families.

The isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital has reported another 16 new positive cases and six among them are COVID warriors.
The CMC also informed about another 91 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
