COVID-19 Claims Another Life In Bhubaneswar; Second Death In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Coronavirus has claimed another life in Odisha.
The Health and Family Welfare Department in a tweet identified the deceased as the 77-year-old (male) patient of Madhusudan Nagar, Bhubaneswar. He had underlying co-morbidities of hypertension, diabetes and kidney disease and died at KIMS COVID hospital on Tuesday, it added.

He had tested positive for the virus on April 28 and was a close contact of a previous patient in the locality.
The state had reported its first COVID-19 death on April 6 when a 72-year-old man infected with coronavirus succumbed at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar. He was a resident of Jharpada in Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, another corona positive case has been detected in Ganjam, taking the affected tally in Odisha to 177.
