COVID-19: Containment Zones Account For Most New Cases In Odisha’s Kandhamal
Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Kandhamal district touched 1470 on Monday with an overnight addition of 121 positive cases.
According to the district administration, the majority of 91 new cases were reported from containment zones and 21 were local contacts. Another nine had travel history to other states.
The new positive cases included 24 from Daringbadi, followed by 21 from Tumudibandh, 20 from G. Udayagiri, 14 from K. Nuagaon, 12 from Baliguda, eight from Tikabali, seven from Phulbani, six from Kotpad, five from Chakapad, and two each from Raikia and Khajuripada.
