COVID-19: Daily Recoveries Continue To Widen Gap From Positive Cases In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The number of patients recovered from COVID-19 continued to dominate over new positive cases in the state. As many as 1911 patients recovered from the disease against 1470 fresh infected persons on Saturday.

Of the recovered cases in the last 24 hours, maximum 245 were reported from Khurda, followed by 153 from Cuttack, 138 from Balangir, 101 from Sundargarh, 96 from Mayurbhanj, 81 from Jagatsinghpur, 78 from Angul, 78 from Kalahandi, 76 from Nuapada, 74 from Balasore, 72 from Jajpur, 71 from Keonjhar, 63 from Bargarh, 52 from Kendrapada and 50 each from Bhadrak, Puri and Sambalpur.

Similarly, Health and Family Welfare department stated that there were 46 recovered reports from Dhenkanal, 45 from Nabarangpur, 42 from Koraput, 36 from Jharsuguda, 33 from Nayagarh, 26 from Ganjam, 25 from Malkangiri, 24 from Kandhamal, 20 from Sonepur, 16 from Rayagada, 9 from Deogarh, 8 from Gajapati and 2 from Boudh besides 51 from State Pool.

With the day’s figure, the total recoveries in the state went up to 2,75,749 against  2,90,116 positive cases.
