Bhubaneswar: Even as more than 200 daily COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Odisha for second consecutive day on Friday, the recoveries from the disease continued to remain below 100.
While 73 patients recovered from COVID-19 on Friday, their number were 72 and 71 on Thursday and Wednesday respectively.
Of the day’s recoveries, 15 are from Nuapada district, 7 each from Bargarh, Khurda and Sundargarh, 6 from Balasore and 5 each from Cuttack and Jajpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
3 each from Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj and Nabarangpur
2 each from Angul, Deogarh, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada
1 each from Jharsuguda and Rayagada
2 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,36,482 against positive tally of 339694 with 234 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
