Cuttack: In view of COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown, the Orissa High Court has suspended the ensuing summer vacation of courts in Odisha this year.
A notification issued on Tuesday said that the decision was taken after consultation with the Advocate General, Odisha, and the President, Vice President and Secretary of the Orissa High Court Bar Association.
The HC will function without any summer vacation if the lockdown is not extended beyond May 3, it said.
This will apply to subordinate courts also, the notification added.
