COVID-19 Lockdown: Odisha Govt Defers Collection Of Property Tax For 3 Months

Bhubaneswar: The Housing and Urban Development Department on Monday deferred collection of property or holding tax for three months in view of the COVID-19 lockdown.

In a letter, Director of Municipal Administration Sangramjit Nayak directed the Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers to implement the decision with immediate effect and charge no penalty for delay in payment of dues after March 31.
