Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to conduct the pending annual exams of the remaining subjects after June 17, .Higher Education minister Arun Kumar Sahu said on Saturday.
“As the state government has closed all educational institutions till June 17 in view of the COVID-19 lockdown, the annual examinations of the pending subjects will be held at any date after June 17,” the minister said and advised the students to concentrate on their studies for the remaining examinations during the period.
Sahu also said that a decision to conduct the unitary PG entrance test will be taken after a meeting with the university vice-chancellors.
Stating that the University Grants Commission (UGC) has formed a seven-member committee to review the status of education in the country in view of the lockdown, the minister said the state government will take a decision in accordance with the committee’s report.
