Cuttack: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, Ravenshaw University Vice Chancellor Prof Ishan Kumar Patra has directed the faculty to hold online classes.
According to reports, the faculty are delivering lectures to students through video conferencing app ‘Zoom’. The online classes start from 10 am and hundreds of students are attending them.
The teachers have been instructed to present detailed reports of their online classes to the university daily.
The text books are available for the students on the university’s official website.
The varsity has also directed the head of the departments (HODs) to ensure that academic courses get completed on time.
The HRD Ministry had earlier asked educational institutions and students to make use of online educational platforms during the lockdown period.
