Bhubaneswar: Considering the resurgence of COVID-19 cases in some places of Odisha, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to impose certain restrictions on the passengers.
The ECoR in a release said all Odisha bound passengers from anywhere in the country, who are boarding the trains from April 10, must have an RTPCR negative test report issued maximum 72 hours before the start of journey or a second dose vaccination certificate.
Those not having valid document will have to undergo seven days’ mandatory home/institutional quarantine.
The restrictions have been imposed in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and adverse impact of cross border movement in coordination with Odisha government, the release stated.
