COVID-19: Toll In Odisha Rises To 362, One More From Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll reached 362 in Odisha with nine more patients succumbing to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
The new casualties have been reported from Ganjam (3), Rayagada (2), and one each from Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Malkangiri and Sambalpur.
The Health Department has identified the deceased persons as:
- A 62-year-old male from Balasore district who was also suffering from Carcinoma Prostate with bone metastasis.
- An 81-year-old female from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
3. A 68-year-old male from Ganjam who was also suffering from Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertension, Parkinsonism, Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
4. A 68-year-old female from Ganjam district.
5. A 79-year-old male from Ganjam district.
6. A 61-year-old male from Malkangiri district who was also suffering from Diabetes & hypertension & Bronchial Asthma.
7. A 65-year-old male from Rayagada district.
8. A 68-year-old male from Rayagada district who was also suffering from hypertension.
9. A 42-year-old male from Sambalpur district.
With these nine casualties, the virus has so far claimed 158 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 49 in Khurda, 22 in Sundargarh, 18 each in Cuttack and Rayagada, 16 in Gajapati, nine each in Sambalpur, Puri and Nayagarh, eight in Balasore, six in Kandhamal, five each in Bhadrak and Keonjhar, four each in Jajpur and Bargarh, three each in Angul, Malkangiri and Kendrapada, two each in Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Jagatsinghpur and Kalahandi and one each in Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Sonepur and Dhenkanal.
