COVID-19: Odisha Logs 64 More Deaths, 27 From Khurda
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll went up to 6366 in Odisha on Saturday with 64 more patients from 14 districts succumbing to the infection.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, the list of fatalities is the details of past deaths for which the audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to COVID-19.
Among the deceased, Khurda district has the highest figure of 27 followed by 17 from Cuttack, 4 each from Balasore and Keonjhar, 3 from Mayurbhanj and one each from Angul, Bhadrak, Boudh, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Kendrapada, Nayagarh and Puri.
In terms of the total number of deaths, Khurda district has the highest 1265 deaths followed by Sundargarh (551), Ganjam (461), Cuttack (415), Puri (399), Bargarh (293), Angul (272), Mayurbhanj (226), Kalahandi (201), Balasore (207), Sambalpur (178), Rayagada (160), Jharsuguda (161), Nayagarh (155), Kendrapada (151), Keonjhar (138), Dhenkanal (131), Jagatsinghpur (106), Balangir (108) and Boudh (106).
