Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 108 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, the I&PR Department informed on Saturday.
Of the new cases detected in 20 districts, 63 are from quarantine and 45 are local contacts.
Sundargarg reported the highest of 12 cases, followed by 10 cases each in Balasore and Sambalpur, Cuttack (9), eight each in Angul, Bargarh and Nuapada, seven each in Jajpur and Puri, four each in Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, and Khurda, three each in Gajapati, Kendrapada, and Rayagada, two each in Deogarh and Mayurbhanj, one each in Kalahandi, Keonjhar, and Nayagarh.
Besides, the state pool has one case.
At present, Odisha has 1,175 active cases while 3,31,824 patients have recovered.
