COVID-19: Odisha Reports 2,334 New Cases; TPR 3.08%
Bhubaneswar: A day after Odisha saw a marginal rise in new infections, the daily caseload dropped to 2,334 in the last 24 hours, taking the active cases tally to 26364 on Saturday.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 3.08 per cent with these cases being detected from 75,653 samples sent for tests.
The state had reported 2806 new infections the previous day with a TPR of 3.57 per cent with 78560 samples tested for the virus.
According to the I&PR department of Odisha, 1,342 cases are from quarantine and 992 are local contact cases.
Khurda reported the highest 380 new cases followed by Cuttack (371) and Kendrapada (196).
