COVID-19: Odisha Tally Crosses 24000; 1320 Test Positive In 24 Hours
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha went up to 24,013 on Saturday with the second-highest single-day spike of 1320 cases in the last 24 hours from 24 districts.
Out of 1320 cases reported from 24 districts, 887 are from quarantine centres while 433 are local contact cases.
While Ganjam leads the tally with the highest single-day rise of 560 cases, followed by Khurda (174), 90 each from Puri and Gajapati, Rayagada (65), 47 each from Cuttack and Sundargarh, Kandhamal (39), Nayagarh (38), Koraput (30), Bhadrak (28), Keonjhar (24), 23 each from Balasore and Jajpur, Bargarh (14), Balangir (9), Angul (6), Nuapada (4), Jagatsinghpur (3), Jharsuguda (2) and one each from Deogarh, Kalahandi, Kendrapada and Sonepur.
With 120 deaths and 15,200 recoveries, the active cases in Odisha are now 8650.
