Khurda: In view of the spread of coronavirus, two wards, no. 9 and no. 12, of Kakarudrapur in Balianta block in Khurda district were declared as containment zones. The decision was taken by the sarpanch of Kakarudrapur.
The sarpanch said movement of all public transport and personal vehicles will be forbidden during the containment period. Besides, all government and private institutions in the two wards will be closed closed and residents will have to remain indoors.
He warned that strict action will be taken against violators.
