Mumbai: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, is currently undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.
The actor, who has been kept in the isolation ward, is keeping himself busy on social media platforms to ward off loneliness.
Big B took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to share a heartfelt note for the healthcare workers who are working day and night to ensure our safety.
Addressing medical workers as incarnations of God, the ailing veteran actor wrote that they ‘fly flags of humanity’ by rendering selfless service to the sick.
Here’s what Big B posted:

pristine white their layered dress ; dedicated to serve they be ; god like incarnations they ; companions of the sufferer they ; erased they their ego have ; to us they have embraced in care ; they be the divine destination ; they fly the flags of humanity … pic.twitter.com/kTlROPIn4u

Earlier this week, a source from the Nanavati Hospital had stated that Big B is stable with the first line of medication.
On Saturday, Big B and Junior B both tested positive for COVID-19. They were immediately shifted to the Nanavati Hospital for medical care.
Big B’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya, too, tested positive for the virus on Sunday. The mother and daughter are self-quarantining at home.
