Cuttack: The number of COVID-19 positive cases continued its single digit run in the city as 8 persons were affected by the disease in the last 24 hours.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), of the new cases, one was from institutional quarantine while the rest 7 were local contacts. Similarly, 16 recoveries have been reported.
With the day’s addition, the COVID-19 positive tally has gone up to 16,159. While 85 patients have succumbed to the disease, there are 102 active cases in the city at present.
