Bhubaneswar: Even as 2995 more COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the state, 3455 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday.
Of the recovered cases on the day, 571 were from Khurda district, 292 from Cuttack, 254 from Puri, 175 from Angul, 166 from Jajpur, 133 from Bargarh, 126 from Mayurbhanj, 120 from Balasore, 116 from Sambalpur, 104 from Balangir and 101 from Keonjhar district, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 99 persons got cured in Kendrapada, 84 in Jagatsinghpur, 84 in Jharsuguda, 72 in Nuapada, 71 in Nabarangpur, 70 in Nayagarh, 61 in Dhenkanal, 61 in Kandhamal, 58 in Malkangiri, 56 each in Bhadrak and Sonepur, 54 in Sundargarh, 41 in Kalahandi, 41 in Rayagada, 35 in Koraput, 34 in Ganjam, 33 in Gajapati, 31 in Boudh and 13 in Deogarh. Besides, there 243 recoveries from State Pool.
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 2,13,672 against 2,40,998 positive cases.
