Bhubaneswar: The number of recovered cases of COVID-19 continued to remain more than positive cases in the state for second day as 3312 patients got cured of the disease and were discharged from hospitals on Thursday.
Of the day’s recovered cases, 658 were from Khurda district, 262 from Cuttack, 153 from Balasore, 151 from Nuapada, 128 from Jharsuguda, 121 from Mayurbhanj, 117 from Keonjhar, 112 from Angul, 109 from Balangir and 103 from Malkangiri, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 98 recoveries in Sambalpur, 88 in Kendrapada, 85 in Puri, 83 in Kandhamal, 81 in Nabarangpur, 69 each in Koraput and Nayagarh, 68 in Dhenkanal, 64 in Jagatsinghpur, 63 in Sundargarh, 62 in Bhadrak, 61 in Bargarh, 58 in Jajpur, 53 in Kalahandi, 48 in Sonepur, 47 in Ganjam, 39 in Boudh, 34 in Rayagada, 16 in Gajapati, 12 in Deogarh. Besides there were 200 such cases from State Pool.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 2,16,984 against the positive tally of 2,44,142 with 3,144 new patients reported in the last 24 hours.
