Bhubaneswar: The total number of recovered patients from COVID-19 in Odisha crossed 2 lakh mark as 4108 more patients were discharged from different hospitals across the state on Sunday.
Of the day’s recovered cases, 721 were reported from Khurda district, 492 from Cuttack, 212 from Jajpur, 186 from Angul, 154 from Jharsuguda, 143 from Jagatsinghpur, 139 from Mayurbhanj, 128 from Sambalpur, 118 from Nuapada, 117 each from Kalahandi and Keonjhar, 116 each from Balasore and Sundargarh, 114 from Bargarh and 107 from Kendrapada, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 89 patients recovered from the disease in Nabarangpur, 80 in Balangir, 75 in Dhenkanal, 73 each in Koraput and Sonepur, 71 in Kandhamal, 67 in Ganjam, 64 in Rayagada, 55 in Puri, 50 in Nayagarh, 44 in Boudh, 40 in Gajapati, 34 in Malkangiri, 16 in Bhadrak and 8 in Deogarh. Besides, there were 289 recoveries from the State Pool.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up 2,02,302 against the COVID-19 positive tally of 2,32,713 with 3,326 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
