Bhubaneswar: The number of recoveries from COVID-19 continued to widen the gap from the positive cases as 2716 more patients recovered from the disease against 1931 new cases on Wednesday.
The number of recovered patients in Khurda district remained high with 586, followed by 206 from Sundargarh, 201 from Angul, 156 from Mayurbhanj, 119 from Cuttack, 106 from Nuapada, 105 from Balangir and 100 from Bargarh, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
With daily positive cases taking a plunge in other districts, there were 98 recoveries in Sambalpur, 94 in Jajpur, 71 in Kendrapada, 70 in Jharsuguda, 66 in Dhenkanal, 65 in Puri, 61 in Kalahandi, 58 in Bhadrak and 56 in Jagatsinghpur.
