Bhubaneswar: In a healthy sign, daily recoveries from COVID-19 continued to remain above 2,000 as positive cases further slid from the figure in the state on Friday.
As many as 2377 patients recovered from the disease, while 1793 people tested positive in the last 24 hours. Of the new recoveries, 394 were from Khurda district, 204 from Angul, 162 from Balasore, 126 from Mayurbhanj, 122 from Cuttack, 109 from Sundargarh and 107 from Jajpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 88 recoveries were reported from Bargarh, 87 from Balangir, 85 from Jharsuguda, 77 from Bhadrak, 72 from Kalahandi, 65 from Nuapada, 64 from Kendrapada, 64 from Sonepur, 59 from Puri, 50 each from Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar and Sambalpur.
