Bhubaneswar: The recoveries from COVID-19 crossed 2000 for the first time in the state this year on Wednesday when 2009 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
Nuapada district topped the table with 274 recoveries for the second consecutive day, followed by 266 from Sundargarh, 206 from Khurda, 152 from Keonjhar, 121 from Sambalpur, 113 from Kalahandi, 108 from Bargarh, 107 from Puri, 88 from Balangir, 80 from Balasore, 64 from Jharsuguda, 57 from Cuttack and 52 from Nabarangpur.
Similarly, there were 42 recoveries from Ganjam, 33 from Jajpur, 31 from Deogarh, 28 from Rayagada, 26 from Mayurbhanj, 20 from Angul, 19 from Gajapati, 15 from Kandhamal, 14 from Sonepur, 13 from Jagatsinghpur and 11 from Bhadrak, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
