Sambalpur: Concerned over the resurgence of COVID-19 in Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), the authorities of Sambalpur University have taken preemptive measures.
In a notice issued by the chief warden of the university hostels Prof B Satpathy, students of the ladies and gents hostels have been directed to return to their respective hostels by 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm respectively.
In another notice, the chief warden has asked the hostel superintendents and deputy superintendents to immediately admit any student who develops flu symptoms to the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla.
