COVID-19 Scare: Judicial Complex In Bhubaneswar Sealed For 7 Days
Bhubaneswar: Four government offices inside the judicial complex at Lewis Road in the city have been sealed for seven days following the detection of a number of COVID-19 cases.
As per the notice by the BMC zonal deputy commissioner (south-east), following the detection of a series of COVID-19 positive cases in the Judicial Complex, the office of the Sub-Collector, office of the Tahasildar, office of the Sub-Registrar, Khandagiri and the office of the District Sub Registrar will remain closed for seven days from April 29 to May 5 in the larger public interest to contain the further spread of the virus with the following conditions:
—The premises of the above offices shall be sanitized with immediate effect by the heads of offices in strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines.
—No one shall be allowed to move into or from outside the premises of the above offices during the period of sealing, except authorized BMC personnel.
—The detected positive cases are directed to remain in isolation at their respective residences. Further, if any positive case needs medical attention, the heads of offices will intimate the same to BMC immediately.
—The heads of the above offices will intimate BMC in case of symptoms observed in staff, other than those already detected positive for their testing and isolation if found positive.
5. In case of any emergency, the heads of offices will contact the BMC Control Room (Mob: 7847873040) or 1929 for immediate assistance.
Further specific instructions/orders will be issued as and when required by BMC.
