Berhampur: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no Ganesh Puja in Ganjam district this year.
In a tweet, Ganjam collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said that the administration will not allow the puja at any public place across the district.
Seeking cooperation from the people to strictly follow social distancing guidelines to contain the spread of the virus, the District Magistrate advised people not to move out of their homes unless there is urgent work.
The collector also urged the shopkeepers and business establishments to strictly adhere to the COVID guidelines.
