Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence fear, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to strictly enforce the COVID-19 guidelines to prevent further spread of the virus.
This came a day after a COVID-19 cluster was detected at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, (XIMB).
“Surprise checks will be conducted at different markets and crowded places to ensure that the social distancing norms are strictly observed from this evening,” BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhury said reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the city.
