Dhenkanal: COVID-19 cases continue to pour in from campuses across Odisha. Now, eight hostel boarders of a private college at Chandmarisahi in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district have tested positive for COVID-19.
The infected students have been isolated at the hostels and samples of other inmates are being collected for the COVID-19 test, informed Dhenkanal tehsildar Laxmidhar Rout
Only those testing negative for the virus will be allowed to return home, he added.
Earlier, three students of private schools and one of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 in Bhubaneswar had tested positive for the virus.
