Bhubaneswar: As the number of COVID-19 positive cases in our country is growing day by day, people are under tremendous mental stress, fearing getting infected by the deadly virus.
To help the public during this crisis, the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) at Ganjam has teamed up with professional counsellors to provide free counselling to stressed people.
According to the DRDA, these counsellors have volunteered to help the people of the state through telephonic counseling amidst the nationwide lockdown.
Those in need can request for counselling in the language they are comfortable with. Counsellors are well-trained to counsel the needy in English, Odia, Hindi, Bengali and Telugu.
The DRDA has tweeted a list of counsellors with their name, telephone numbers, timing of availability and language of communication, on its twitter handle.
