COVID-19 ‘Super Spreader’ Infects 37 In Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: The COVID-19 tally in Keonjhar district surged to 730 on Tuesday following the detection of 77 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Out of the 77 new patients, 53 were local contact cases. Another 22 cases were reported from home quarantine and two were COVID warriors.

Of the 53 local cases, 37 were reported from Anandapur municipal area. They are contacts of an earlier positive case. Besides, one local contact case is under treatment at SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

With 436 recoveries so far, Keonjhar district has 294 active cases at present.
